COLLECTION AND USE OF INFORMATION
We may collect and use information about you in a variety of ways. Examples of the types of data we collect and use include:
Derivative Data. Like most website operators, we gather from users of the Site information of the sort that web browsers, depending on their settings, may make available or that our servers automatically recognize when you access the Site or the Services. That information includes your Internet Protocol (IP) address, operating system and browser type, and the locations of the websites you view right before arriving at, while navigating and immediately after leaving the Site. Such information is not personally identifiable, but it still may be possible for us to determine from an IP address your Internet service provider and the geographic location of your point of connectivity, and other statistical usage data. We analyse such information to help us better understand how the Site is being used. By identifying patterns and trends in usage, we can better design the Site to improve your experiences, both in terms of content and ease of use. From time to time, we may also release this information in the aggregate, such as by publishing a report on trends in the Site’s usage.
Personal and Financial Information. We may also collect “Personal Information” about you, which is information that, without more, can be directly associated with a specific person. Personal Information may include your name, residential or business address, email address and telephone number, and, if you transact business with us, financial information such as your payment method (valid credit card number, type, expiration date or other financial information). We also may request information about your interests, activities, gender, age, date of birth, username, hometown and other demographic or relevant information as determined by us from time to time. You are under no obligation to provide us with Personal Information of any kind, with the caveat that your refusal to do so may prevent you from using certain features of the Site or the Services.
Email Communications. We may occasionally use your name and email address to send you notifications regarding new services offered by the Site that we think you may find valuable. We may also send you service-related announcements from time to time. Generally, you may opt out of such emails by following the unsubscribe link in the email communications.
DISCLOSURES OF INFORMATION
We may disclose your Personal Information under the following circumstances:
Marketing Communications. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we may email you about products and services that we believe may be of interest to you, and we also may provide your email information to third parties so that those third parties may directly contact you about additional products and services. If you wish to opt-out of receiving marketing materials from us, you may do so by following the unsubscribe link in the email communications or by contacting us using the contact information provided below. Similarly, to cease having your email information provided to third parties, you may do so by going to your account settings or contacting us using the contact information provided below. Even after opting-out, you may continue to receive marketing emails from third parties to whom we have already provided your email information. You will be responsible for directly contacting such third parties to request cessation of further marketing emails.
Third Party Service Providers. We may share your Personal Information, which may include your name and contact information (including email address) with our authorised service providers that perform certain services for or on our behalf. These services may include fulfilling orders, providing customer service and marketing assistance, performing business and sales analysis, supporting the Site’s functionality and supporting contests, sweepstakes, surveys and other features offered through the Site. These service providers may have access to your Personal Information as needed to perform their functions, but are not permitted to share or use such information for any other purpose.
Other Third Parties. We may share your aggregated information with advertisers and investors for the purpose of conducting general business analysis. We may also share your Personal Information with such third parties for marketing purposes, as permitted by law. If you do not wish to have your Personal Information shared with third parties, you may opt-out by going to your account settings or by contacting us using the contact information provided below.
